Support

We're a small team and we read every email.

Email [email protected] and tell us which device you're on. A screenshot helps a lot. We usually reply within a day or two.

Joining the beta

The beta is open on iPhone and iPad. Sign up on the homepage and you'll get an email with a TestFlight link within a minute or so. Install Apple's free TestFlight app first, then open the link on your iPhone or iPad and tap Accept, then Install. No email? Check your spam folder, or write to us. Mac and Android are coming soon.

My health data isn't showing

My calendar isn't showing

Daystead shows the calendars on your phone. Add Google, Outlook or other accounts in your phone's settings (on iPhone: Settings → Apps → Calendar → Calendar Accounts), then make sure Daystead is allowed to read your calendar.

Backups and moving phones

Settings → Backup → Save a backup saves everything to one file you can keep anywhere (iCloud Drive works well). On the new phone, use Settings → Backup → Restore or import a backup. Importing the same backup twice doesn't duplicate anything.

Daystead also saves a backup by itself once a week and keeps the last five. Find them in the Files app: On My iPhone (or iPad) → Daystead → Backups. If something ever goes wrong, restore the newest one.

Buying, the free trial and restoring

Syncing between iPhone, iPad and Mac

Sync through your own iCloud is coming in an update. Until then, move your data with a backup file (see above). Health and cycle information will always stay on the device you add it on: Apple doesn't allow health data in iCloud, and we think that's right.

Calendar, reminders or health access turned off

If you tapped Don't Allow, turn it back on in your device's Settings → Apps → Daystead (or for Apple Health: Health app → your picture → Apps → Daystead). Daystead can't ask again by itself once you've said no.

Tracking parcels

Share a delivery email, a tracking link or a tracking number to Daystead (the Share button in Mail, Gmail or Safari, then Daystead), or paste it with the + on the Deliveries card. To make it automatic, use a Shortcuts automation with Daystead's Add delivery update action, for example when an email arrives from a shop. Everything is read on your device.

Cycle estimates

The cycle tracker estimates your next period and fertile window from the cycles you've logged; the more cycles, the better the estimate. They're estimates, not medical advice, and not a method of contraception. See a doctor if cycles are often shorter than 21 or longer than 40 days, periods last more than 7 days or are very heavy, there's bleeding between periods, or pain stops you doing normal things.

Locking Daystead

Settings → Privacy → Lock with Face ID (or Touch ID, or your passcode). Daystead then asks each time you come back to it, and the app switcher shows a plain cover.

Something's broken

Settings → Help → Send a problem report shares the crash details from your device (never your tasks or health data), or email us at [email protected] with a screenshot.

Deleting everything

Settings → Erase all data, or simply delete the app. We don't hold a copy, so there's nothing else to delete.

The old web board

The Daystead web board has been replaced by the apps. If you still have a backup from the board ("Save everything to a file"), the app imports it: Settings → Backup → Restore or import a backup. Your board's data also stays in your own Supabase project. If you get stuck, email us and we'll help you move across.
